On January 26 (local time), the International Ice Dragon Boat Series event in Trento, Italy, kicked off, drawing 450 athletes together. As ice shards flew,
the air was filled with the sound of drums, chanting, and cheers; ice dragon boats raced neck and neck, staging a thrilling ice competition full of speed and passion.
The event was paired with Italy’s distinctive opening ceremony, making this Sino-Italian cultural integration event even more unique. In the 2018-2019 season,
dozens of ice dragon boat events at various levels have been held worldwide. In the future, driven by the enthusiasm of more participants and enthusiasts, the
sport will continue to develop and expand globally!
