The Big Four International DragonBoat Federations Issued a Joint Declaration about Promoting the Development of Dragon Boat

龙舟是中华民族的古老团体运动，随着华人迁移而传播到世界各地，越来越被世人所喜爱。随着龙舟运动的发展，1991年在香港成立国际龙舟联合会（IDBF），2004年在瑞士成立国际皮划艇联合会（ICF）龙舟委员会，2007年在美国洛杉矶成立国际大学生龙舟联合会（ICDBF），2016年在美国成立国际冰上龙舟联合会（IIDBF）。自成立以来，四大协会在各自的领域为龙舟运动在世界范围内的发展做出了巨大贡献。

Dragon boat is the oldestChinese traditional team sport, as the Chinese migrate and it spread around theworld, more and more people love it in the world. With the development of thedragon boat sport, International Dragon Boat Federation (IDBF) was establishedin 1991 in HongKong international dragon boat federation, founded in Switzerland in 2004 InternationalFederation of Canoeing Dragon Boat Committee (ICF), was established in 2007 in Los Angeles International College StudentDragon Boat Association (ICDBF), founded in America in 2016 International DragonBoat Federation of Ice (IIDBF). Since its inception, the big four associationsin their respective areas for the dragon boat movement made great contributionsto the development of dragon boat worldwide.

今天，四大组织汇聚多伦，发表联合声明：共同推动龙舟在世界范围内的推广与发展，让世界人们喜欢龙舟、参与龙舟；让龙舟给世界人民带来快乐，带来运动激情，为实现龙舟进入奥运大家庭共同努力。
