From January 11th to 12th, 2020, the 2020 Shengjing Ice Play Festival and the 2nd China · Shenyang International Ice Dragon Boat Race
"Hunnan Cup" kicked off its first competition day. The event was hosted by the People's Government of Hunnan District,
Shenyang Municipal
Bureau of Sports, Shenyang Municipal Bureau of Culture, Tourism and Radio, Film & Television, and Shenyang Daily;
implemented by Shenyang
Qingquan Shengjing Sports Culture Development Co., Ltd., Shenyang Daily Media Group Co., Ltd., and Shenyang Palace Museum; and
supported by Shenyang Municipal Water Affairs Bureau. Citizens of Shenyang enjoyed a grand ice carnival this winter.
Amidst the sound of drums, all team members on the ice dragon boats waved their ice picks and strived to row towards the finish line.
On the 11th, the group preliminaries and finals of the ice dragon boat race were held, where a thousand athletes competed for spots in
the final, vying for the top with great enthusiasm. In the end, eight teams, including the Emergency Management Bureau of Hunnan
District, the Urban Management Bureau of Hunnan District, the Dadong District Team, and the Shunyu Air Cargo Team, advanced to
the final on the 12th.
The cheers of victory chased away the cold and brought people's love and passion for this sport.

tells the world about Shenyang's glorious history, unique cultural heritage, and endless urban vitality.
